There are a number of air conditioning contractors claiming they check 30, 40, even 50+ different items in their servicing of your equipment. This is a little misleading, and in our minds raises concerns over the honesty and integrity of the companies offering such inspections. Community Cooling offers a 16 point inspection of your equipment, and that pretty much covers the whole system from top to bottom. There simply aren’t that many parts to be checked or serviced on an air conditioner, any claim that a contractor is performing an inspection of 50+ different parts of an air conditioner seems to indicate an attempt at manipulation, or perhaps justification of an unnecessarily high price for their service.
